Emergency response In case of emergency (transportation accident, incident on site...), all information related to our product handling and safety is provided in our material safety data sheets. The people who answer the phone are trained to assist you in an emergency. Additionally, CHEMTREC (Chemical Transportation Emergency Center) should be contacted. CHEMTREC is a national center established by the Chemicals Manufacturers Association (CMA) in Washington, DC, to relay pertinent emergency information concerning specific chemicals on request. CHEMTREC has a 24-hour toll-free telephone number (800-424-9300) or 703-527-3887, intended primarily for use by those who respond to chemical transportation emergencies. CHEMTREC may also be accessed through the American Chemistry Council's web site. Trained operators will take the necessary information and route it to the appropriate member company. Europe For emergency response to accident with Arkema's products during shipment or at customer facilities in Europe, Arkema has implemented the CARECHEM 24 program. By dialing Arkema emergency phone number + 33 1 49 00 77 77, you will be connected with a multilingual international operator who will transfer the information to the NCEC (National Chemical Emergency Center). The NCEC Emergency responder will speak to the caller at the scene of the incident using simultaneous interpretation and assist you in the management of the event. China Duty Managers of Arkema Greater China, who speak both English and Chinese, will take care of the emergency calls at the following number +86-21-63906001 (24hrs/day, 7days/week). Also Arkema China has contracted with NRCC (National Registration Center for Chemicals) - China's national center - who can also provide help.
